LAST SONG.

Well this week I would be talking about this film made by Julie Anne and based on a novel written by Nicholas Sparks.
This film combines from love, family, opportunities, goals, life, and problems.s. The main actors in this film are Miley Cyrus and Greg Kinnear. In this movie, at first we can see a broken family and in it we can understand all the bad consequences that a family in that way brings to the kids. Then we can see a rebel girl that wants to do whatever she wants but in the transition of the movie we can see that her relation with her father starts to improve and they start to talk and be friends. But after days passes, a man appears and they got in love but they were very different but then many things appear and many other things were discovered that would change completely the movie.

At the end of the movie, a lot of messages appeared. Because we can see that life is not what we think it is, it's difficult, it's not easy so we have to learn from our mistakes and try to don't make them again. We have to live every day as if it's our last day. We have to tell people what we feel about them and we have to take advantage of everything we have.

In the movie we can see many shots, wide shot, high level, bird's eye, close-up, extreme close-up, long shot, medium shot and two shot. The shots made us understand more the movie and focused ourself in what the director wanted to focus us. The lights were very good because we can see everything very clear and the backgrounds were simple. The sets and places were very well also because they made us feel like the situations were real.

Costumes designes job.

The most important thing in a movie is the costume that the characters will going to use during the production of the film. Costume designers are the ones who create the character's costume , they have to use their imagination to create something new and according to the role of the character that they are going to be performing.
Before creating the costumes, the designer needs to read the role of the character in the movie , the things that the character like, the personality ,etc. because creating a costume it has to be according to the character.
They are the ones that creates the look of each character by designing clothes and accessories the actors will wear in performance. Their designs need to faithfully reflect the personalities of the characters in the script.
Costumes provide audiences the information about a character's occupation, status, gender, age, sense of style and tendencies towards conformity or individualism. As well, costumes can tell the characters mood, the age, the actors appearance etc.

Costume designs need to include many accessories that the character would be using, such as canes, hats, gloves, shoes, jewelry or masks. These props add a great deal of visual interest to the overall costume design.

Costume designers begin their work by reading the script to be produced.

La Rafle.
Hi guys, after being studying some German History this short week,I had recently watched a film made by Alain Goldman, released at the beginning of this year call La Rafle or The Round Up. This movie is directed by Roselyne Bosch, produced by Alain Goldman, written by Roselyne Bosch, edited by Plantin Alice and the starting are by Melaine Laurent, Jean Reno Sylvie Testud, Gad Elmaleh and Raphaelle Agogue. According to Wikipedia, the budget of this French film was about € 20,000,000 and a gross revenue of € 24,234,537. This film is based on the true story of a young Jewish boy that since the beginning had to pass threw difficult moments where he and his family life is under danger. The costumes of this film are characterized of Jewish people that used to wear during this time that was non extravagant cloth, with a yellow star that meant that they were Jewish people. Their cloth were characterized because of this star that they had to wear in their clothes. So their costume were all known and noticeable. The props that this movie uses are the common as other real stories movies uses, to express the reality that it might had occurred during that difficult time, in order to let us catch they way of living, the director encourage the using of a messy place in which Jewish people used to lived over that conditions that they may leave any moment. So the background or setting are from messy departments like small neighborhoods to working camps, which this is the one that the director uses the most to show the movie. The scenes of this films are believable, because that's the purpose of the director, to show us the real story that Jewsish people had to pass during WW2, with Hitler in power as the Fuhrer. The props, the costumes, the main plots that the character had to face while the movie continues and the music being used matches with the real scenes being used to express that kind of mood that can't be explained toward ourselves, where human life was miserable and extremely bad treated. The film with the uses of the scenes, plots, dialogues, actions and sound catch our attention easily toward our feelings that creates us a melancholy mood. This film I consider that goes fast, which I think that its good and correct, because in that time the main actions that Hitler took over Germany and later on at other territories they were no slow, the opposite, his actions were fast and smarter, so I think that the movie is well presented with a faster way. This film play with the shots, where at the beginning it plays long shots, showing us the entire scenes, which is Paris, even do we can noticed because of the Eiffel Tower, then it is being showed some close ups to the character to show us their way of actions and moods that this situation that they had to live created to them. The filmmaker plays with the lights in most of the darker scenes, which are departments, camps were they used to sleep and other major places were the movie takes place. The production of this film was made by Bosch, which he decided to put and made this film as La Rafle because she felt sympathy with the victims, in the other hand her husband's family were Jewish people, and her father had been detained in Francisco Franco interment camps, so she felt connection with all this thing circumstances. So she discovered Joseph Weisman and Annette Monod, whose memories would eventually form the base of the entire script.
The shooting of this film began in May 2009, and lasted over 13 weeks, were 9,000 extras were used, and concentration camps were re constructed in Hungary of the shooting of this main parts. The dialogue of this film is simple, which I mean that the frases or words being used are understandable, the dialogue is ok, where I mean that it is not based on many words or concentrated of dialgue, which is corrects because it is showed more in the actions that the character had to pass.

Ecuadorian Films.

Hi guys I would like to talk about this two films that I had just study in class which are: Guayaquil de mis amores and La divina cancion.
Guayaquil de mis amores was a movie directed by Francisco Diunmejo in 1930. This film was the first movie that used synchronized sounds, and also this film was the first movie sung. This movie was produced by Ecuador Sono Films, which had great figures from Ecuadorian music and famous Cuban dancers of the year. According to an Ecuadorian news, 70 thousands went to watch this film.
L divina cancion was a movie created by Alberto Santana in 1931. It is a classic love, which is the center of Guayaquilenan music. Martha Blacio is a young poor girl that is in love with Jorge Rando, a young guy who studies medicine, but at the same time, she is courted by a old doctor called Ferres. Martha gives her love to him because he was a rich doctor, and she needed the mobey to take care of her sick mother, but at the end her mother died. Jorge knows about it and finally Martha knew that he had noticed about his love with the doc. so she ends killing herself. This movie includes some sounds and music from Enrique Ibanez.
This two films are very old, but we can notice by the last one that the theme was very original, with Ecuadorian reality about love.

2000 movie area.

During this time there was a change over film industry because of technology. There was a growing problem of digital distribution to be overcome with regards to expiration of copyrights, content security, and enforcing copyright.
More films were also being released simultaneously to IMAX cinema, the first was in 2002's Disney animation Treasure Planet; and the first live action was in 2003's. Each day that passes by, technology is coming out, so that means new machines, new effects, new film industry to manage movies.
There has been an increasing globalization of cinema during this decade, with foreign-language films gaining popularity in English-speaking markets.
Recently there has been a revival in 3D film popularity the first being James Cameron's Ghosts of the Abyss which was released as the first full-length 3-D IMAX feature filmed with the Reality Camera System.
This camera system used the latest HD video cameras, not film, and was built for Cameron by Emmy nominated Director of Photography Vince Pace, to his specifications.
As of 2010, 3D movies were gaining and increasing popularity. After James Cameron's 3D movie Avatar became the highest-grossing film of all time, many other movies have followed suit and been released in 3D.
One major new development in the early 21st century is the development of systems that make it much easier for regular people to write, shoot, edit and distribute their own movies without the large apparatus of the film industry.
We can notice that every day films are changing, with new innovations about editing and production, which make the be more creative and original.

The last movie released in 2003, The Return of the King, won all 11 of the Academy Awards for which it was nominated, Academy Awards received for a film. The trilogy received wide praise for the cast and for the innovative practical and digital special effects. As we can see this movie was not easy to made, thats why we can see its complexity during the presentation of the three movies, that means that we can find a variety of shots and angles, from wide shots, for the entire view of the scenes which the movies takes places, in huge castle to close up shots to show character's mood.
Jackson began storyboarding the trilogy with Christian Rivers in August 1997 and assigned his crew to begin designing Middle-earth at the same time. For this film Jackson hired long time Richard Taylor to lead Weta Workshop on five major designa elements: armour, weapons, make-up, creatures, and miniatures. Most of the imagery in the films is based on their various ill

The total increases to 3,420 with the extended editions. 260 visual effect artists began work on the trilogy, and the number doubled by The Two Towers.
